I traded a pre b cz75 for a like New Norinco 1911a1. Any good, or bad points to this thing? I like it overall. Oh. I only had $275 in the CZ..

You did good. Those were made with very good steel, and build up into very fine pistols.

Norinco is a great gun. Worth $400+.

I remember an old thread of same title, Norinco's could still be had in Canada, they used 5160 spring steel, same stuff is suspension for most american made pickups etc. Makes great Tough Knives, has since the 1800's.

Were I to build an 1911, it's base would be Norinco.

Would be great to import some frames and slides. :)

It is my best shooting 1911.

Traded 2 AR15 stripped lowers for it.

I have two that are my favorite "shooting" 1911s.

They are good pistols, undervalued in the marketplace for the longest time.

You did well.
