took the saiga 12 squirrel & rabbit hunting in the pine forest yesterday and it's good to go. shot some jackrabbits a while back, gtg too. winchester 2 3/4", 1 1/8 oz#8 shot, fed 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2 shot. even popped a few stumps with fed slugs. the cylinder bore barrel isn 't the best but gets it done. a mag full of slugs brings a smile on.

Very Cool! Would like to get one of those myself. Those still have chrome lined bores? What kind of slug accuracy do you get with that?

Any idea what the current price they are these days?

i will check for chrome, at 100m i will hit a man size target all day . at 50m pretty much point of aim, have to group it. need to get a full choke and see what that will do. a hoot poppin old whiskey bottles.

My S12:

Actually the last time I shot slugs out of this gun I got fairly decent groups at 50 yards. This was just shooting Winchester Value pack 12g slugs, nothing special ammo wise.

Next time I go out with the S12 I think I will stretch it out to 100 yards and see how it does!

I bought one just to deer hunt with. I use a 1.5 power scope and two round mag. I have killed two deer with it and have thought about carrying it turkey hunting.
