just wondering what everybody's experience has been with steel cased 9mm in their 75's. LGS has Barnaul at a decent price.

All I have ever used in my 75BD is brass ammo , I wouldn't think it would hurt anything , I have a CZ82 that all I shoot in it is steel case ammo , have not had any problem with it , you might try a box or two before buying a big amount .. LMK how you get along with it , if you try it ...

I've seen several CZs in matches where the owner used steel cased ammo and they ran fine.

CZs don't always work well with aluminum cased ammo though. It doesn't harm the pistol but stovepipes are common.

Should be no problem.

I have seen 1911's with the firing pin hole peened so hard that the firing pin would not retract because the owner ran steel cased ammo.

No free lunch.

I've been using nothing but Brass cased 9mm+P+ for thirty three years now and been through 8 barrels and two trips back to CZ in the Czech republic for tune ups. Best 375.00 I've ever spent. Now for steel cased ammo, Just keep it lubed and clean and you shouldn't have any problems Just saty away from Wolf ammo, It's reformulated Tank and Artillery powder that is corrosive.
