Who makes the accessory bag you have strapped to the stock? Does it have a cheek filler in it,

Thinking It might be nice for this rifle=>

It is a Blackhawk and does not have a cheek filler in it. There is another model that does, this is where I got mine from. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/125776/blackhawk-ivs-performance-rifle-cheek-rest-with-rifle-ammunition-carrier-5-round-fixed-stock-nylon-black?cm_vc=subv1

Tough to choose from my Winchester Model 70 Varmint Special in .22-250 or my Carl Gustav FSR in 6.5x55 Swede. I just use them for recreational shooting. Both are tack drivers.

Tikka T3 Varmint Stainless in .223 1:8 twist on a KRG Whiskey 3 Chassis with a SAKO TRG Bipod and an Accushot monopod. Weaver 3-15x50 mil/mil scope. Modded AICS 308 mag, but have a couple of AICS 223 mags now. Replaces the TRG-22 that I never shot due to not having a long enough range available. Has an upgraded bolt handle and shroud now. Must shoot it...

It was actually a birthday gift from my mother some 10 years ago. It went without having a scope on it for years and years. Completely un-used. About 2 years ago, I sold my 03A3 and needed a new main hunting rifle. I remembered this old gal. I dug her out of the gun closet, threw a crappy Simmons scope that I had lying around on her, took her to the range and I'll be damned if she didn't shoot just over 1 MOA on my first group.

Got the rounds into the black, got her close enough to 1 MOA and called it a day... then I put the paint job it, and I moved recently. Somehow during the move it got knocked or something, but the POS scope broke, so now I'm saving for a decent optic.

Maybe when my Mosin project is done that'll be my new favorite... we'll see

Awesome, I'm beginning to plan out parts for a Remington 700 competition rifle build and that certainly looks great.

How do you like the Steyr SSG, Andy?
A member of my shooting team in the Marine Corps had one with Kahles glass, and liked it.
I've been interested in having one since the late 80's, but have always either lacked the $$$ or other guns had priority.

I've been interested in having one since the late 80's, but have always either lacked the $$$ or other guns had priority. ....I really like the SSG mate, I bought it second hand in 1986 and I believe it dates to the late 70s. There are certainly more modern designs and the Rem700 is hard to beat for "modularity" but the SSG will get the job done and done well. I broke the original green stock (my fault not the stocks) and got that McMillian in the pic about 20 years ago. The biggest drawback to the rifle is the plastic trigger guard, I never never understood that. The current replacements have steel inserts around the bolt holes (as this is where they seem to always fail) so they may last longer. The plastic magazines are less of an issue (the five rounders) to me at least. I have now solved both "problems" with a new triggerguard assy that take AI magazines. I am just waiting for a little machining to be donw to get it fitted up. Steyr also now supplies a picatinny rail that replaces the Steyr rings. I have one on the way and will drop on a different optic once it arrives (the rifle/mounts/Khales were all co-numbered and supplied as a package from the factory so I don't intend to separate the optics and mounts).

My Setter Rogue is also partial to the rifle.... ;)

My NM rifle was originally built in 1931 and then rebuilt and reissued at the 1936 National Matches. It was used by and later bought by a member of a New York civilian team.

Here's one of my favorite rifles, it's a 30-06 1917 Enfield that I rescued from a friend who was going to make a lamp out of it. I target shoot with it. It shoots 3/4" at a hundred yards with any ball ammo I feed it. I bedded it in a Bishop stock, black oxided it, milled the receiver to accept weaver bases, and it now sports a 24" barrel. Don't ask how many cutters this thing ate, it's harder than the hinges of Hell.

This is my CZ Brno Small Ring Double Square Bridge Mauser in 7x57mm Mauser.
I made this in 1985 when I could still see. The wood is an english/black piece of grafted walnut, Classic stock with beaded cheekpiece, checkered Neidner steel buttplate, bolt stop shelf, ebony forend tip, Grisel grip cap, checkered 2 panel bolt, 3 position Grisel saftey, Blind trigger guard, double scalloped tapered octagon barrel and rust blued. Shoots 3 shots into one hole at 100yds when I do my part with a Leupold Vari XIII 2.5x8. She's never let me down and has killed everything I ever shot at with one shot except antelope. That's mostly me, hard to get the lead right when they're running 50+MPH in southern Idaho, 2 and a half body lengths seems to work well out to around 400yds. She's never had a factory round down her barrel, only reloads. Weighs in at just
7 lb 14 oz loaded with sling and 4 rounds. Did I mention I like light, somewhere I must have.
