Just finished building my third Glock, I have a Glock 20 10mm, and a Glock 36 45 ACP, figured I needed a Glock 22 in .357 Sig to go along with the others..I bought a bare frame, slide and started ordering parts, barrel is a Lone Wolf 2 port extended, changed recoil spring to ss 15lb flat, Ultimate trigger block, 3.5lb connector with Wolff comp springs, nice trigger as all surfaces have been hand stoned and polished..I have a mag well adapter to facilitate magazine changes...Love my Glocks...

Mmmm, how do parts costs compare to buying a complete gun?

I'm currently waiting for my 357.sig barrel from KKM to put in my G23. :]

You don't "save" any $$ at all HLP, in fact it costs more (MUCH more).
You DO get to hand select your barrel, slide, components and of course pick out your Lone Woof Uber Cool colored frame..

Yeah I kinda figured that.

I've seen some really tricked out Glock and they are really impresive,

I have a Glock 27. All of my other center fire pistols are proper John By GAWD Browning 1911s. Hell, even 2 of my rimfire pistols are "1911s." This little Glock is is a hoot to shoot. It doesn't serve the purpose for which it was purchased, but it is so much fun to shoot that I am reluctant to sell it.

the 27 is my go to pistol, compact & hideable but still takes 15 rd mags of 40 s&w. if needed.

You went with a 15 lb recoil spring in a 357 Sig? Seems kind of light for that caliber. I went with a 20 lb for my G22 357 conversion.
