Yep, Bought it back from a guy I sold it to last Spring. Damn, I like this pistol.

Love my G30. Congrats on getting it back!

It's all in the details, Sailor.

~ What in the hell were you thinking when you sold it?

~ Did you break even on the $ ?

I got it from a lady for $450, I bought three magazines for it. I sold it to a builder guy for $600. This guy likes 45ACP and has dozens of guns. I needed the money. Then I did some work for the same builder and charged him a little extra. Then asked him if he wanted to sell back the gun for $600.

So you basically broke even. Good deal.

My favorite Glock.

I just meant that since you sold it for $600 and bought it back for $600, you broke even. Was not referring to current panic pricing, although they don't seem too insane ~ $5-600 on GB.

I am surely contemplating trading my g27 for a g30, but the 27 is damn near the perfect concealment pistol. I will look for a sign.

Here's your sign!

I had a 27 and sold it to buy a 30 once I shot both side by side. The 30 has a softer recoil than the 27 in my hands, and was much more accurate for me. If I can shoot a .45 faster and more accurately than a .40, then why go with the .40? The only downside is the slightly larger size, but for me it was worth it.

Had my 30 for a dozen years now, its the last plastic gun I'd part with.
Had it out a couple weeks ago and took bragging rights at the 100y line for hits on a milk jug.

What I have been lusting for lately is either (or both:devil:) a S&W m19 in 2 1/2" , or a m13 in 3" to go with my 4"m19. So the thought has crossed my mind that I could trade the G30 toward one of those. But then I go fondle or shoot it, and the thought is gone. The 30 will be sticking around. Guess I'll just have to save my $.
