Thanks for the heads-up, Man. I drove over to Nampa yesterday afternoon and picked up five of them. Black Dog also has, according to them, a fairly large shipment of .22 conversion kits for AR-15's that they recently got in. The kits look identical to CMMG conversion kits, and are currently selling for about $150.

Kit comes with 2 mags. What is the feed lip option about?

From the BDM website:

Feed Lips: You can disassemble the magazine and insert a new feed lip if the existing feed lip has been damaged. The only difference between the Nylon feed lip and Steel feed lip is friendly price point options for the buyer on a budget. We have not received a worn out feed lip so we cannot say which has been better- they are both functioning 100%.

The older version had the feed lips molded as part of the body

I started to buy more mags but I have no idea how many i have now and need to check before I load up on more. I suppose I would like some with the replacable feed lips. And would absolutely love to shoot them enough to wear some out.:) There is talk about a local range offering a "Tactical .22 Carbine" competition soon, if so I may get a chance!

Don't miss out on this. Shipping is very quick and the magazines are great quality if you shoot your .22 LR conversion with any frequency.

I'm thinking of going with the CMMG from Wholesale Hunter with three mags for $175. Opinions? The keyboard range is hot.
