Take a close look at them.

If you like what you see, buy them both.

Sounds about like a normal price for a 10/22. Cabela's sells them new for right in that same ballpark, and has sales on them now and then where you get the rifle and a 4X scope for $229 + tax. Not on sale and without the scope, you get a blue 10/22 with wood stock for $229. Stainless are a bit higher. $227's not a bad price, but I think that's about the minimum you're going to find a NIB 10/22 going for.

I really miss the days when gun stores were selling 10/22's as loss leaders, and the out-the-door price was about $60 - $70. But time marches on, and the price of everything keeps going up.

Those prices sound good to me. Get 'em while the gettin's good. There might not be a time for "later".

I could also get from two local FFL's a Ruger 10-22 takedown.

#1 sells it @ $335.00 + tax

#2 sells it @ $330.00 out the door.

(Local Cabelas sells it for $349.99 + tax. )

After playing with one for a while, I felt like I would like to have one.

I would buy the takedown model myself.

A co-worker of mine just spent his longevity bonus at Sportsmans Warehouse on a wood stocked blued 10-22. Just a little over $200 as I recall!

I've ordered me a 10-22 TD today, I went with the cheapest offer.

FFL says he'll have it on Monday.

Cal-Ranch here in Utah has them at $199. I've also seen a few local classifieds selling them around $175ish BNIB.

For less than $200 you could only get used ones around here, usually over a year old and a little worn.

I bought the 10-22 Takedown at the lower price.

Nice little gun.
