I think they're all the same as far as sights go...including the folding rifle grenade sight. Scope rails are built in.

Never did research on numbers, but mine is sweet and a very very good shooter! A great rifle, but the ammo still makes me wince.

You better call them first. I was there Wednesday night to pick up parts and they could not transfer any guns. I was told they had some problem renewing their FFL.

The ones SOG has are like new, and come with a bunch of stuff....bayo, night sights, sling, cleaning kit, tools, extra extractor...I love mine, the only problem is the Portugese ammo is so weak it won't cycle mine. Maybe when it's broke in better, but not now. I am saving the brass to reload!

They are really nice, robust firearms. Like haveing an SKS with detachable mags in a better caliber. Whatever you do try not to fold open the grenade sights to play with them. Sometimes the valve will not reset and you'll end up with a single shot til you can figure out how to close it back- usually involves opening and closing a few times til it resets by itself. There was a tread on Assaultweb about reloading them- use a 147gr .30 FMJ in fireformed .30-06 or 6.5x55 swed. cases. I ran across the thread the other day- I'll find it and post the data.

I have the same problem with the Portugese ammo in 7.5 Frenchie. Reloading smoothed my cycling problems out nicely. I've heard you can trim 6.5 Sweede brass down, resize, and stuff a .308 pill in there and that works fine. I'm waiting on some brass to try it. Make sure you use those CCI#34 primers or you will get slam fires (where's the selector on this thing!?) I love mine and it shoots great.

my gripe with the mas is the ammo situation.i still have some surplus stuff and i just picked up some of the port.i haven't fired any of the port because my mas is in dry dock(refinishing stock).other than that i love it.
