No no no. The reciever has some slight pitting and the stock was beat like a Turk owned it. It wasn't a perfectly good one but a perfect example for this purpose. Best part is I have a nice crisp vz barrel and bits leftover for when I find that one with the perfect reciever and a rusty bore and hardware. Then I'll be in business.

Idsubgun: yeah I'll do Bruce's. Least I could do after conning him into the project to begin with. Hey did you ever find any of them heavy 9mm's????

Nope, I'll have to use 147gr. when I roll my own.
Actually the 158gr. weren't all that much quieter than a "normal" 147gr. 9mm load.
There was a slight difference, but if either was shot outside your house and your windows were closed, you wouldn't hear either. If you were a couple hundred feet, you wouldn't even have to close the windows. :D
