SOG gets a lot of flack, but I ordered a hand select from them a couple of months ago and got one with all matching SN's, stock in excellent shape, excellent shiny bore, and bluing at 90-95%. Price was $160.

My suggestion is to order 2 hand selects from SOG and keep the best.

Fit is infinitely better than the Chinese. All parts are milled rather than stamped. Nice solid rifle and reasonably accurate.

I hear they are a great rifle. A Major in my unit recommended this rifle. It is what he carried in the Gulf War and said that it never missed a beat.

I just got one from SOG and it is nice. Haven't shot it yet as winter had decided to visit us again......
But, it's in very nice shape, just a little wear on the blue, couple minor dings in the stock. Much better made than the Chinese guns ('course I guess when you need to make 7 billion of them ya gotta cut corners!)
