Just picked up a Romanian M44 at the gun show. Blueing, stock, and bore all near 100% with all-matching stamped numbers. Really sharp looking blond stock. The serial number consists of only three characters; two letters followed by a number. Is this typical of Romos? Date of manufacture is 1954.
