I sent my application in to the BATF on March the 1st. Check cashed on the 3rd. Today (the 25th) I recieved my C&R license in the mail!!! Just three weeks...WOW!

Now I just have to figure out what my first purchase will be........

Any suggestions?

First purchase should be K31's from Aimsurplus.com, $80.00 delivered, today and tomorrow only. Then M39's, Swedish Mausers, M91/30's, M44's, Turk Mausers, Enfields, Makarovs, High-Powers, CZ-52's, you get the idea!

I think I've got ya beat. Mailed app 3/15, license came today. Didn't think the feds did anything that fast. I guess my previous Type 01 and NFA Stamp background checks greased the skids a bit.

Mailed my info off to the BATF Atlanta on March 14, 2002. Check cashed on the 17th, liscense mailed out to me today :D dunno why you naughty boyz have a 6 week wait <bg> and interviews .... j/k y'all Maybe the BATF is getting caught up and even ahead of the game now. Hope they come soon for y'all :) Now, for my first CC&R purchase .......ummm whatcha all think about the Ballester Molina .45 ?????

Hope you were through buyin FALs, cause you aren't gonna have the money now!! I think the C&R is some BATF conspiracy, they would rather us have old bolt guns than evil semis, so they make the c&r license so easy to get, then conspire with all the big c&r distributors to keep offering these "can't pass em up" deals so then you can't afford parts for FALs. They also employ thought reading devices that know when you almost have the money saved up for another parts kit or receiver, and then thats when they spring the really "good" deals.....Yep, thats my story and I'm stickin' to it. :D

Or maybe I'm just too dang impulsive .... nah, gotta be the conspiracy thing!
