My wife thinks our marriage license is her C&R ticket.
I’m old with handling marks, some parts that are irreplaceable are missing, smell like cosmoline, (which is a good thing I think) need to be head-spaced from time to time, my sights are calibrated for distances I can’t realistically achieve, cheap - generally, full of character and oh what stories I could tell if I could talk...but my wife is on the phone and the kids already know everything. The dog looks concerned but just doesn’t understand, so I guess that’s why I’m shooting my mouth off here.

You're a C&R when your front sights need to be on your side of the rear sights ;)
