took the saiga 12 to the desert, put about 50 rounds of federal 7 1/2 game, winchester 7 1/2 low brass for the main course with some fed 2 3/4 " 1 1/4 oz magnum rifled slug hollow points for desert, laid waste to some stuffed animals, beer cans, wine bottles & old cans of paint . the 7 1/2 worked great with a manly shoulder mount but i had stove pipes on about half the shots from the hip. the slugs are the bomb, accurate, stiff kicker (bruises to prove it) , very positive ejection & a nice fireball in the dim desert night. deuce thumbs up, out

Do you still have the standard, straight stock on it?

I did the PG conversion using a Tromix folder. The standard stock was MUCH more comfortable to shoot it with, but wasn't NEARLY as cool looking. LOL

I left mine stock for awhile, and said hell with it I'll convert one. The second set of parts were in the mail as soon as I shot the converted one. I threw my original stocks out. (literally)
