Just came in on my C & R FFL. BEAUTIFUL barrel. Finish indicates it has been pulled in and out of a holster many times. Seems to function fine. All matching numbers. Well worth the money.

Gary, they are in Flyer #132, March 0f 2002, on the front page. I don't have a scanner, but here's the info:

FN Browning "Argentine" Hi-powers, 9mm with 2-13 round mags! Fn Browning design pistols, liscensed by Browning and made in Argentina on Browning machinery. These are in good condition with worn military finish but function great! Metal is great (no pitting) Each comes with 2-13Rd magazines.

ONLY...$259. C&R

Hey, at that price I may have to get one myself!

Is it FM marked or FN marked ?

Sorry Gary, but it is as skfullen says. It was in their March flyer. I don't have a digital camera.

Redneck, it is FM, licensed by FN.

If I could afford another, I'd buy another. I don't think you guys would be disappointed except with the worn, painted on finish and perhaps the harder than usual trigger pull.

Gary, I have posted the "heads up" notice on SOG FM HP almost a week ago. I got the news from C&R list serv and I posted it here right away.

Guys, I posted this in the other thread about the Argie BHP, but here goes.....SOG now says these are NOT C&R eligible, even though they've already sold them to C&R holders, and even though other wholesalers (JL Denter) have them listed as C&R. And, they ain't gonna let you talk to the boss about it. Buncha bullshit!!

For some stupid reason I didn't get a March catalog.....grrrrr. And I have money available for guns!

JLD has some very nice pistols that are tempting me. Anybody know anything about that pre-war Colt model mid-page? The Star Model P at the bottom looks sweet as well. Cruffler.com sure liked them. And there are lots of Hi Powers although it isn't really one of my favorites. I don't even own one right now! I guess I need one after all!

What DOESN'T get a good review at Cruffler? I like to check out what they have to say, but every review is either a BUY NOW or HOW HAVE I LIVED THIS LONG WITHOUT ONE. I like their articles in spite of this though.

Tulsamal,

Got one of the Star Ps. Nice pistol but getting spare mags cheap is impossible. Prices range from $30 to $60 each.

Sistema Colts - got 2 and love 'em. Can't be beat for government quality pistol. Also good base for building up a custom.
