just picked up a K98 w/ nazi markings!

I went to a local C3 shop Friday. Was talking machineguns when a guy came in with some M1 carbine mags and a K98 for sale cause he was hard up for $$.

Well the dealer took the gun in back to check for headspace .. came back and wrote out a purchase receipt and paid him some $ .. I didn't want to be nosey and was looking at some guns while this happened.

Guy leaves and I asked him to look at the K98. He hands it to me and I start looking it over. ALL Nazi marks intact .. obviously a Russian rework (electropenciled to match parts and refinished). Bore is bright! Headspace is damn good. Dealer told me I'll let ya have it for $80. I smacked him with my C&R and the $ pretty quick! (Same gun empire arms was selling out of at between $200 and $300)

Haven't got to shoot it yet. But it is a beautiful looking K98!

I'm waiting to see if my Samco k98 is up to the claims. I'll know late this week when the BBT comes in.

I just got one of those $250 k98's from Empire. BBT should be delivering on Wednesday. :D First time I've used the C&R since I got it in January.

Well .. I am pretty stupid when it comes to posting pictures so maybe my brother can help me out later.

Shot it yesterday! Shoots like a tackdriver and I was even using cheap turk ammo! I couldn't be happier! :D

Well, I uh, had to buy some G1 kits, then I needed a few replacement parts and some OD furniture, then I ended up with an extra barrel, then 2 extra lowers and now I need two uppers and some US parts. And, I just got an M1 Garand from CMP. ;)
