so addicting? I picked up pretty clean 91/30 with all the goodies at Big Town yesterday and a nice M39 from DeanP at the last Market Hall show. :)
The M39 is a great shooter, and I can't wait to try out this new 91/30. Now to find that old Remington or Westinghouse. :D

What next? The K-31 is definitely on the horizon as well as a couple more Mausers.

C&Rs...oh no, here we go again!

He's been bitten by the bug. So many varieties to collect. My collections change direction with every purchase.

Monday will bring yet another into my collection. Hopefully a nice matching 98/22.

Wait till you've tried out one of those M-44s! Recoil ain't as bad as everyone would have you believe, accuracy is pretty decent (except for the funny way your point of impact changes, depending on wether or not the bayonet is extended or folded) and with the bayonet extended, you can actually cook hotdogs on it with the watermelon-sized muzzle flash!
Best $70 I ever spent! :D

Although the Turks are very inexpensive now, I would skip them. I bought one from SOG and it was a POS. I just picked up a new Turk stock from Sportsmans Guide and it will at least make it look OK. Thinking of getting some Oxy blue from Brownells and redoing the blueing. As far as shooting, well, it shoots as well as it now currently looks. :(

I would go with the K-31, Swede's, Pursian or some of the other rarer S.A. mausers before I would dive into the Turks. Unless of course you can find a matching mint one. :D

I shot my first Mosin this past Sunday. Interesting but I think Ill stick to Mausers.
I agree with SrBenneli. I expected recoil to be horrendus, but in fact was about like a Mauser.

Well, well, well! Looks like we both have a gn that we can not pick on each other about. I'll bring my 91/30 that I converted to a sniper to the March shoot. It isn't an orginal sniper but it looks cool and shoots great.

BTW: did ya hear about my gun show purchase? I bought a Pedersoli "Quigley" 45-120 Sharps.
