I don't care for Century's FALs, but some of these deals might be worth looking in to. The SAR1 seems cheap enough. Also, check out the Czech model 24. Yes, this is the CZ-24 so many like to use to build custom rifles on. For 2 for $100, it's cheap. Also Yugo SKS's for $99.

There are some great deals there. I just couldn't pass up the Yugo SKS for $99 or the VZ24's for under $50 each! I wish I had the money to get a SAR-1 but I'm taped out now.

Anyone know who really makes the AR-15 receivers Century is selling for $80 a pop?

That's almost too a good a deal to pass on, if the receivers aren't Hesse....

Wonder where the L1A1 receivers are made. I don't have an FFL & they won't even talk to me, actualy they were rude.

Century claims their Ar rec's are made by the same company that makes them for Colt, but I have no experiance with them.

I believe that Century makes their own FAL recivers now. I don't know about the quality but the price is pretty good.

Remember all these prices include shipping too.

I've seen these Century receivers at a gunshow. They actually didn't look too bad. Although, I'd spend the extra $15-20 and get a Rock River Arms receiver from Gunsmoke.

I called century today and the lady on the phone said that the ar-15 recievers are made by dpms. I don't know if that's true, but that's what she told me.
