View Full Version : How many Rounds Have you put Through Your Woo?

Just curious to get an idea of expected barrel life of a typical Daewoo K2. 1-7 twist barrels supposedly wear out faster than 1-12 twist.

Feel free to post the number of rounds through your gun, the type of daewoo (along with barrel twist if you know it) and if you like the type of ammo and firing that you've mostly used with it.

Barrel life is likely 25,000-30,000 rounds..at todays ammo prices, if you can shoot that much, you can afford a new barrel once you shoot that one out....

I don't possible see how it could be that many rounds. Even cold hammer forged barrels don't quite have that life.

I probably have 700 or so through mine.

The Woo barrels are chrome lined so if you don't abuse them they will last a really long time, I'm thinking 12K to 15K.

If you do wear it out I convert and install AR barrels so you'd still be GTG!!!

Do you reprofile them to fit the Woo's profile (and cut down say a 20" to the woo's length of 18.25"? I believe most AR barrels out there have the gas port drilled into them already.

Do you also modify FAL handguards so they can be fitted on the woo?
