... for a PARA FAL.

I'm not looking to spend money needlessly, but if there's anything I should pick up, I'd rather save on the shipping charges.

I plan to order an extended safety, BFA, cheek pad and a carry handle washer (because I removed the carry handle).

Any spare parts I should get? Certain springs or parts that tend to fail more often than others?
Large or small, I'd rather have and not need, than need and not have.

There are a couple of members on the board that sell the carry handle slot fillers.

Are you buildiong a new PARA? If so then you will need several parts dedicated to the para. You will need a para cut upper, a para cut lower, a para bolt carrier, para spring kit and a para buttstock.
