Even if you could fire one shot and not have it blow up it would never load or fire another round without a extractor and ejector. If you did have the skill to modify it to work, then you could easily make or convert a real gun. where did these morons get their training as night manager at Mcdonalds?

Talking with the owner of a local gunshop last week who just had a visit (3 days worth) from the ATF. Two females came in and went through all the inventory, bound book and all the 4473's. He said they were very through, very precise, and pleasant. Found a few problems and assisted in getting them corrected. At least one had a sense of humor. Maybe they were new at the job.

We got hit about 5 years ago with a routine inspection. A man and women came in for the primary inspection, the women came back for a follow up about a week later. Both were very thorough and professional. Found a few issues that we had to correct, but nothing major and no citations. Haven't seen them since. They are however doing random spot checks on guns we have on record. They must get the S/N from the manufactuer and track it to us to see if we have it on record. They called about one gun in particular while the customer who had originally purchased it was standing in the store. The gun wasn't stolen, missing, or used in a crime, the customer still had it in his possesion. Very odd to us at the time until we figured out what they were doing, saves on man power I guess.

You would use the airsoft lower receiver, which has a FA FCG with auto sear, with a normal upper half. About 30 minutes and a new bolt catch and you had a viable lower.

Here is a photo I grabbed from google

Well,

That lower looks pretty close to the real deal but dont you still have to have the correct bolt carrier? I also wonder about the return spring and buffer?

So if I'm understanding correctly-The Batfe says that you can swap LOWERS between a real semi fal and a full auto airsoft rep, and the airsoft lower will allow for FA fire from the semi fal upper WITHOUT the sear cut??

Ok i'll bite, what's up with her head wrapped in Saran Wrap? Does it have anything todo with her job or is this a personal grooming thing? Seems to be unprofessional if the latter, the equivalent of going to work with curlers in her hair.

I assume a FA bolt carrier is required. I guess if i was going to attempt this, I would replace everything I could with "real" AR parts.

I knew a guy who used to own one of these during the ATF media blitz. The receivers dont line up at all and the trigger group parts are not identical at all. Really it justs highlights the issue of AR lowers are considered guns, meanwhile the upper isnt a gun. Like they said in the follow up video, its more about these things looking like real guns than the possibility of converting them to the real deal. AKA "job security for ATF"
