I want a new shotgun for 3 gun. Semi-Auto - tube fed.

I am thinking Mossberg 930

or perhaps Winchester SX

I do not want the Benelli and the FNSLP has a bad balance point for me to point well.

Thoughts - anyone use the Mossberg - the price is attractive.

I've seen the Remington 1187 tweaked for 3 gun use perform pretty well in competition.

I am using a tweaked 1100 now and want to move on.

Actually the Benelli M2 is handsdown the most popular 3 Gun shotgun
and for good reason. They simply run and run and run.

I am just curious why it does not work for you because i would
highly recommend you get at M2. Either a 21" if you want to
compete in Tactical or 26" if you are going to shoot Open.

Its the gun that all others are compared to in 3 Gun.

I do not have a good reason to avoid the Benelli but cost - I only shoot 3 gun once a month and hate to tie up 1000 plus in the gun - I hope I can get the 1100 reliable again - may just buy another one or try the Mossberg 930 - anyone actually shoot the Mossberg 930?

Love my M2, even more than the old M1 super 90!

I felt the same way about the $1152 bucks I spent on mine. But I
think it was the best $1152 I ever spent. Sold my 1187 and an 870
to get it and I would NEVER go back. Its the 21" barrel and I use it
for quail, grouse and Turkey too. I even bought a used 26" barrel
for Goose, etc. Its my one and only go to shotgun now.

Trust me..... bite the bullet and just do it!

If you are looking at 930's, make sure you check the front sight. Mine was canted and every one I've look at had canted front sights.

+1.

Mine looks straight anyway you look at it, but gun still shoots right with rear sight all the way left.

Looks like after almost 4 years Mossberg could have fixed this, or at least shipped 2 barrels with each gun so you didn't have to wait for them to send replacement.

Other than that love it, works great with red dot sight.
