Shoot a cop flier surfaces at Occupy Phoenix event

It's been two weeks since Occupy Phoenix took over downtown Phoenix.

Occupy Phoenix members are making headlines again and law enforcement officers are on high alert. A flier surfaced the event in downtown Phoenix that encourages the shooting of cops.

Bart Graves with the Arizona Department of Public Safety says a sheriff's deputy found it at the Cesar Chavez Plaza and reported it to the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center. Officials informed all local law enforcement agencies.

Without direct proof that someone in the OWS movement actually took the time to write this flyer and then actually had it printed, It would appear to be nothing more than an amateurish attempt to discredit their movement. An attempt that would seem to be born out of desperation.

I don't see the problem with it. Makes sense, actually. Who was it that said that the problem wasn't shooting people...it was making sure that the right people get shot. There are A LOT of people that deserve that fate now...at the time of the destruction of what used to be a republic governed by law.

Cops aren't sacrosanct. At the very least, probably 25% should be tarred and feathered...BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT...and probably a lot worse than that.

I really can't understand this holier than thou attitude some of you folks have for cops and military...

The flier in question was copied from an article that was published online back in June at copblock.org . I remember seeing it back around that time frame when there was so much anger over the shooting of Jose Guerena by the Pima County SWAT.

The same people who are wailing about the horrors of a piece they've never read, sport a Moaning Labia bumper sticker. Just who do you think is going to do the coming and taking?

Not for shooting anyone who doesn't demonstrate that they need shooting. Unfortunately for the police, many do demonstrate that they need it, so perhaps they should change their ways rather than complain about the sentiment? I just skimmed the opinion piece sourced on the flyer and it hardly seems irrational or without merit.
