I just ordered a Sig 556 Patrol rifle. It comes with a H style flash suppressor. I looked all over the INTERNET for information as to what an H style suppressor is, and can't find anything. Will some please explain what a H style flash suppressor is? Is it possible that they are the swiss military flash suppressor?

From the pictures I've seen the patrol model flash hider looks just like an M16A2 flash hider. Maybe there is another version though.

Some info here on the Swiss ones.

Thanks, Tim, for the RobertRTG link...

I didn't realize that he was selling a copy of the Swiss FS for the SIG556 rifle until now (and just ordered one).

The SIG556 Classic SWAT rifle that I received from CDNN had the standard M16 A2 flash suppressor when received (although most photos that I had seen showed the ACME flash suppressor/mount), which I had replaced with an A1 one.

Edited to spell ACME right...
