As the US moves more and more closer to totalitarian regime, cities are rushing to film every second of your life for police perusal.

They are also taking over all private security cameras too.

“This is just the beginning,” said Dave Wilkinson, president of the Atlanta Police Foundation, which helped raise money for the center. “This is going to grow by leaps and bounds over the years. The goal, of course, is to have the entire city blanketed [with cameras].”

Knowing someone might see me doing something wrong just puts me off, if the national motto is still "in God we trust" that puts the rest of us under suspicion.

Recent reviews has demonstrated that this urban general surveillance crap has not solved even one crime.

Not one fusion center has come up with any trend that has resulted in any prosecution.

Only the actual counter terrorism units get anyone here and hellfire over there. They have to stake out the perps as ususal, after a tip.

The Mayor of the town south of me let his wife monitor the red light camera data as they have a large extended family what with cousins marrying each other like the do in that neighborhood so they use the cameras selectively, I was told the wife was monitoring the 24 hour take last week and found the Mayor driving through one of the camera traps late at night with a as yet to be identified female,,, now the Mayor's wife and her lawyer are splitting up the Mayors stuff between them,,, red light cameras can be hell when you think you are bullet proof. They are enhancing the pictures to see if he had on a seat belt.
