SIG made a 7.62x39 version for trails in Finland which ultimately ended in the Finns adopting the Valmet.
The picture blow is a SIG 510-3 from the SIG factory collection.
It sold at auction in 2008 for 8,000 swiss francs(aprox $7,400 in 2008)

The barrel length is 40cm aprox 15.75 inches.

From the photo it appears the receiver is shorter in the magazine section and I assume the rear bolt body is shorter also.

I remember that auction--- wish I could have attended, purchased and brought back. :D

The only thing this Sig has in common with the AK is the caliber. Everything else is different. Kinda like Charlize vs Whoopie.
