I saw on the news that they are labeling the person they shot as a "gang member" in an attempt to try to defuse the situation. Which I believe only serves to make things worse if too many people know that person.

Latest intake this a.m. is that the rioting has spread to two other locales...not definite if other cities entirely?... and one (other?) person was shot. Same [lack of] details... busses burned, cars overturned, bottles and bricks thrown, yadda-yadda.

England, is a land essentially without firearms or the means of self defense.
The few firearms that exist in civilian hands may not be used for self defense. Knives, clubs are also banned as weapons.

Only the police may act.

In order to make sure no rioters are injured, rubber bullets MUST be used so that that the injured may come back to fight another day, with molotov cocktails.

I was just musing about the fact that the USA has up to 220-330 million firearms in civilian hands. There are at least 100 million gun onwers here. In 2009 alone, we bought 19 million guns.

Now if there were only 15 million gun owners who had to defend the old sod and each took out 5 miscreants that would decrease our population by 75 million. There are only 305 million or so currently living in the USA.

If 50 million gun owners took out 5 miscreants, for a total of 250 million, we would have to import the bad guys population of a few 3rd world countries.

During WWII japan only lost 2 million troops, Germany 5 million troops.

Ahhhh, you may want to adjust the contrast on your PPTM as I think this cat is a bit pale. Mark Duggan, whose death ostensibly caused the rioting was probably not an ethnic laplander himself, judging by his picture. However, the English (caucaziod and otherwise) have never passed up an opportunity for a good tussle in the streets before or after WWII, rampant socialism not withstanding. Euros have rioting down to a science, only rivaled by the ROKs who consider it a national pasttime as well. Africans traditionally preferred ritualized combat or outright ethnic cleansing and simple civil disorder was considered a bit passe. African Americans are relative newbs with only 40 years practice. But, Ye Olde Englishman can riot with the best of 'em.

I find it difficult to scrap up much sympathy for the Brits. They sat silent as miscreants in their government disarmed the populace wholesale. It didn't stop with only firearms. Now it swords, daggers, spears, clubs... anything at all. They have even made self-defense a crime! And the Brits sat there and did nothing.

Now they have invited in a ravenous wolf in the form of radical muslims who are simply bidding their time before the main event - Islamizing the UK.

Reports are that all the rioting first began had racial overtones even though whites have joined in "to show the rich people that we can do what we want" as one participant put it.

But, we yanks can't be too smug. Its already started here in a number of metro areas and its definitely racial so far. Makes me wonder to what extent it will grow once dollar inflation eats away at what these welfare professionals will be able to buy each month.
