I will say that this incident did involve an illegally-handled firearm, not one retained on and about the person of a licensed permit-holder and may have offered some excuse for agitation on the officer's part. The real issue here was the use of threats of violence on his part in both incidents and his subsequent inability to identify law-abiding citizens from violators.

threats of violence that would land any non-cop in jail
a backseat passenger without the legal right to be armed in a vehicle.
The constitution apparently doesnt say anything about the right to bear arms in back seats.

Interesting. Like I said in another post. this cop needs to be investigated.
If the officer noticed a legitimate threat he has a right to take control of the situation. When confronted with a threatening situation I think he also has a right to be upset. When he sees a gun on the floor in the back of the car, I find no fault with him pulling a gun.
What I don't like about this particular officer is that he remains upset even after he has control of the situtation and has threatened legitimate citizens who were only excercising a lawful right.
I think he is a dangerous officer.
