.... because of sexual "misconduct".
An incredible non-statement... (http://newsok.com/oklahoma-highway-patrol-concludes-sexual-misconduct-investigation/article/3588061)
I apologize for the scant news facts but that is the state of reporting in Oklahoma.
From what has been reported he should be on the sex-offender registry...
...how much do you want to bet he won't be?

He resigned so he can keep his retirement, and go work for another department.
Many departments/unions have this option not. Instead of firing (which would limit your ability to work at another department) they allow you to resign and continue your abuses elsewhere.

Misconduct could be any thing from having an affair with a married female officer to having sex in the police car with a suspect. I would like to find out just what kind of misconduct it is. I doubt that he has any kind of time in the retirement system at 27 years old.

He could have as much as 9 years in. Non-sworn at 18 and then sworn at 21.

Would the retirement be statewide in the OK PERS system and portable to another government job?
