I was going to sping for a Neu-Trigger but I might wait a bit now. Long thread over on Arf.Com in reference to the Ratwork trigger mod.

What do you all think? Is this the route to go to get a decent trigger on my Aug A3? Bill Springfield offers his trigger job for $99 .

Neu-Trigger about $30
Bill Springfield trigger job $99
Ratworks trigger pak $200

Good question...

All I can tell you is that Bill Springfield's trigger work on the G3 is superb...

Forrest thanks for the comments on the Bill Springfield G-3 trigger. It spurred me to pull my G-3 trigger pack and mail it off to him for a trigger job. I've been thinking about doing it for a year or so, but I just never got around to doing it till Friday.
I'll wait till I get it back and then I'll ask him about doing the Steyr A3 trigger as well.

I can tell you the Neu trigger is a world of difference and well worth it. It changed my A3 from an unacceptable trigger to one that I'm happy with and that I don't feel the need for further mods.

+1 to Mr. Airacuda's comments.

Feels like a different rifle -with NO permanents mods.

I'd stick with ratworx. I bought a hybrid bolt assembly and I've been happy with it. Was thinking of thier trigger pack, but I don't have a problem with the stock trigger.
