I've had this rifle for 16 years and have always wanted to upgrade it. Cost and laziness are why it's taken so long. Finally after browsing the web for ideas over the years and narrowing down the direction i wanted to go with it, it's done. This was always my favorite and best shooting rifle in it's stock configuration, i hope i haven't ruined it.......
Looks nice though

Thanks to the members here that provided the awesome parts!

Fantastic job on the butt stock adaptation! And I think you did the best that can be done with getting over the rear sight. I can see where the long FAL hand guard is a plus......but, that bipod up there on the barrel will kill whatever accuracy you may have had.
DSA's target Fal's are fitted with a free floating tube type hand guard with a bipod fit to the end of it to keep accuracy in check. I often thought about making a clamp on bracket for the chamber end of the barrel that would support just such a configuration to "pod" some better groups.
Great work tho, keep us posted on any further tweeks!

The bipod definitely killed the accuracy, so bad I couldn't sight in the scope. I promptly removed it after a lot of denial and the accuracy returned. Overall I'm pretty pleased.
