i would really like to get an MSAR rifle soon, but after some research, it seems like the trigger could use some work. Is this an accurate assessment? and if so, has anyone installed a trigger tamer in their rifle? and if you have, what were your results?

After reading some reviews I went with the Neu-Trigger instead of the tamer which I was warned about from my AUG dealer.
The neu trigger basically makes plastic to metal connection instead of plastic on plastic. I don't have a scale but it went drom very heavy with a predictable creep.....to crisp,no creep AR type trigger.
Stock it could not compete accuracy wise with an AR,now it on even terms. For $27.00 dollars shipped I think it is the best mod I have ever made to a weapon for the money.

I have one in my AUG A3. I am happy with it. No issues at all through the first 350 rounds since putting it in.

I have original "Trigger Tamer" installed in a 3RB hammer pack I use with my Wilson RR AUG. Here's a pic:
