How to view old Private Messages?

What steps are required to view old Private Messages?

Have a tough time remembering things these days, hoping these PM's will jog my memory from a few years back. Would also like to go in and print these private messages before deleting the lot of them.

The number of sent and received private messages show up on the left hand side, but so far unable to find or interact with any of them.

There is a drop down in the same area as the folders that has when to view messages for. Mine is set to "from the beginning" but my oldest messages are from just earlier this year - nothing *real* old

I have the same issue. It says I have 190 messages in "Inbox" but I can only view 123.

Go figure.
