View Full Version : CZ85 for $370?

March 14, 2011, 20:46
Stopped in at Ye Local Dealer today and there was a nice CZ 85 sitting in the case. Dated 1994 and imported by Magnum Research, Inc out of Minneapolis. Condition was easily 95%, with the box, papers, mags, etc. Said he'd sell it for $370. Sound reasonable? My '88 vintage '75 is getting lonesome and wants some company.
Is there anything that makes this vintage '85 different from the current one? Anything in particular I should look for besides what I'd look for on a pre-B? Inquiring minds want to know!!

I'd buy it, sounds like a sweet deal to me.....

I would second that the price is well worth it.

I can't think of anything specific to look at as to the pre-b thing...

Business is business, but the guy who sold/traded it is probably still walking funny.

I do hope you made the deal..
STILL waiting for PICS though..

Ok, OK, OK already! The deal is done. Don't know how the guy is walking, but I didn't offer the price, it was the seller that offered the price. I'll be picking it up Thursday, yeah, it's even from a shop. CZ's don't command a lot of respect in this area, heck I picked up my second pre-B 7 years ago for $200, and the first was just under that price a few years before that.
I'd be happy to post Cz-porn, but the lack of a camera makes it difficult, however, with intense concentration perhaps a group mind-meld would transport the pics to everyone? Meanwhile, with the snow finally starting to melt, I may be able to get to my practise range by mid-April, so in a few weeks I'll know how it shoots. Till then I'll just have to cuddle up with it at night and tell it stories of it's new friends adventures.
