I would like to know what this guy is drinking, smoking, snorting, etc.
It looks like an Imbel on Imbel build. But, who knows ?

And,
Don't call us Surely !

Since the Imbels are banned from import, he's calling it a preban but he's completely out of touch of reality. Looks like an STG kit on there. At least include the freaking flash hider and magazine if your going to try to get double what a rifle is worth.

GB used to be a cool website. Now the idiots have taken it over.

First off I just love when folks try to sell a FAL as FN when it is anything other than a FN FAL. Seems many of the sellers on GB use the FN moniker loosely when referring to any FAL. (Even L1A1s)

Now if the seller believed the Imbel parts gun was prior to Bubba's 1994 ban on importation and domestic manufacture of look a like Assault Rifles then he may have been partically correct, but he certainly needed to elaborate that fact.

This is what frequently happens when a Dogpatch gunshop post slippery information on the internet.

What has happened Sampson is all the best of FAL/SLR and other products are now being listed in our marketplace.

Just a personal opinion, but you could delete about 10 pages of crap at GB which is posted over and over and unsellable due to their high price, under FAL search. I would spend only 5 minutes reviewing the other 7 pages.

BRILLIANT strategy! Wife tells her hubby "You have too many guns! How many can you shoot at a time? Pick one and sell it!"

Instead of reminding her of the closet full of shoes and thus being banned to The DogHouse, hubby lists rifle at twice it's value. Since it doesn't sell, he can tell her "It's a soft market, honey"

Its at gun shop maybe the guy that sold it to them took them for a ride. There is an L1A1 here in good condition in a shop where they want $1500. It has been there a while....

Typical Stg58 kit on a PAC Imbel GL receiver with starting price of $1958. Probably the only FAL he's ever seen, much less had in his shop. Maybe I should take a little drive over to Rexburg and see if he'll take my $1600 Norinco SKS in trade?

Gun is on consignment and they had no idea what it was until I told them. They seemed nice, just uninformed.

If he used key terms like "Styer barrel", "StG 58 kit", "Imbel Gear Logo", slapped a stolle flash hider on there and threw in a couple mags and a mag pouch, I bet he would get something close to his asking price.

That is an extremely rare PAC version of the Imbel Fabric National FAL. It is so rare that the flash hider is unobtainium. And it it the OLNY one that was ever imported. Hence the high price.

Sheese, don't you guys know anything?

+1 too. I have one genuine FN/FAL, and all the rest are FAL's, but not FN's.
