View Full Version : Standish Michigan: McDonalds is Anti-Gun

On the way home we stopped at the McDonalds in Standish, Michigan and noticed they had ban the handgun decals on their entry doors. Their decals were complete with a McDonalds corporate logo, and stated that only Law Enforcement Officers are permitted to carry concealed handguns on their premises.

This seems contrary to Michigan CPL Law.

We ended up getting our lunch at Burger King instead.

If nothing else FAL FILERS should not patronize this establishment until the anti gun signs come down!

Seeing to the fact that I stay away from fast food, and McDonald's in particular, I'm already on it. :)

Not that I frequent them much, but I'll have to check McD's around here. I usually look for the signs everywhere out habit.

Easy to skip Mickey D's, though they do have good (expensive) coffee now on the way to the range. The No-gun thing probably doesn't apply to the drive-thru! Right?

I think the best thing to do to these folks is to DE-fund them!

What kind of people would leave someone who wants to protect themselves in the face of criminal attack, particularly when they do not provide armed security?

I hope they go broke!
