Gitmo detainee AHMED GHAILANI was acquitted of all but one charge, Obama Justis. This should never have happened, it should have been a military court. The burden of proof is very different. This slug was all smiles.

That seems highly unlikely.

Mr. Ghailani, who remains in custody, faces 20 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on Jan. 25.

The Columbia Mafia Judge in the case, a graduate of Woodstock, ruled that any evidence gained from the perp, through interrogation, no matter what, could not be used against him--not even his name.

That is because the perp was brought here against his will from a foreign land.
The Judge treated the enemy combatant perp as if he was an American Citizen. Only Citizens get the "rots", the rest get the rope, as in "Nuremburg".

The enemy combatant perp was arrested years ago and never had the right of counsel, because he was an enemy combatant---never needed a lawyer.

That is why the judge ruled as he did, he was an asshole who intended to screw the pooch for the case, and who likely does not even understand basic hygiene.

By the way, the perp was never waterboarded, just interrogated like your local sheriff would interrogate any murder suspect.

Obama blew it by bringing the matters of war into a civilian court in the first place, treating WAR as a criminal act. Obama intends for ALL the cases to be thrown out by civilian juries and Judges, including that of Kalid Sheik Mohammad.

Obama has been pressuring Peru to release bomber killer Lori Berenson because she is a commie and therefore is innocent too.

2012 will be such sweet suffering!!!

OJ was acquitted too. Juries don't always make the decision I might. It's far from clear that a military court would have come to a different verdict and if we believe military courts only exist to rubberstamp indictments I'd rather we just hang folks and avoid the expensive charade.

OJ is still more dangerous to me than that skinny who is no doubt sculpting with his own feces after years in Gitmo.

The Nacissist-In-Chief appointed an AG who's less competent than a first year law student.

The way I figure it he gets 20yrs. In our wonderful system he gets paroled in 7yrs. he has already served 10, so they let him out now and pay him for the extra 3 yrs.

What it means is torture is still illegal and evidence gained by it will not be admitted.

The same hold true for a military tribunal.

Well so much for Eric Holder and what he said regarding this trial. He should be fired for incompetance. Either he screwed up in the prosecution of the dirtball or he screwed up regarding his prognostication about the verdict a year ago. Either way he screwed up big time. He needs to go.

McCain liked Holder so if you got what you wanted you might be bitching anyway.
