E*Trade may be insolvent with the MBS mess
70% of the firm's total assets are related to residential real estate loans and mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities.

Nobody seems to like Scottrade

Ive been considering Zecco and OptionsXpress but am unable to find out if they deal with FXS( Swedish Krona Trust) and FXF(Swiss Franc Trust)

Also considering tech stuff in India but Zecco and OptionsXpress should have these listings

Questions are
1) Is Zecco or OptionsXprsess any good?
2) Do they handle foreign currency ETF's(specifically FXF and FXS)?
3) Will Capital Controls shut down the currency trading?
4) If things go south here in the US, will ETFs still be valid/of any good if purchased through Zecco or OptionsXpress?

Think or Swim - TOS - lets you trade virtually everything - most of the trading sites I hang at TOS is their primary but virtually everyone has another acct with another company in case TOS goes down or the cant get a borrow for a short,

don't know the answers to the questions you posted,

So all those really intelligent-looking people in those commercials are actually up a creek?

I like the baby trader ads - the crib ad where the kid breaks out a smart phone after mom takes the laptop is classic.

A high-frequency trader in a low-level crib. The pacifier relieves the stress of missed fractional profits. Life is good at three!
