If by now you guys have not prepared and have food/security/shelter taken care of then the time is indeed short.

Consider this: In January 2009 a 6 oz can of solid white albacore tuna was .98 cents at the local walmart. Today that product is in a 5oz can and cost $1.14 cents, which means a 6oz can would be $1.37 cents ....a 40 % increase. Get the drift.

Read the article below and pay attention.

They don't "commeth" - they are already here and have been going on for at least the last few weeks if not longer - BoJ intervening was picked up 2-3 weeks ago by the currency traders over on the TF -

So what ya trying to say Gates...you're prepared?

There's only so much you can do to prepare anyway. Most will be out of our (peasants) hands.

I've watched a lot of the food prices rise as well as the package size decrease over time-most probably don't even notice.

The squeeze will be getting tighter though-especially with no increase in SS due to "no inflation".Besides food, fuel prices are rising, home heating costs are rising, taxes are rising, electricity costs are going to be rising,etc.....Even those of us that work will feel it-only so much you can do to increase income.

The gov at all levels will find ways to bleed us more to keep things afloat-which will just reinforce the downward spiral.
