Let's see if I understand this, gates--you think that the problem is that you lack sufficient eloquence?

You would think that a hand full of Governors, business moguls and economists would get together and hold a press conference. Are they all cowards? Afraid to go off reservation and tell the truth? I guess so. I've always suspected that higher education made people loyal to the system above all else. After all, they can reap handsome financial rewards for going along with it. And near the top, the money for this loyalty is breath taking.

No Shlo - sufficient understanding - I have a fair handle on what is going on - but HE writes the stuff... and obviously, I think he is correct.

Not my meaning, gates. I'm asking if you think that the reason that the Jokker(sic) doesn't get it is because you lack the ability to explain it clearly.

no - I think he doesnt get it because he is being pigheaded stubborn and ignores empirical facts that don't jive with his views - tough to get through to a person that wont revise their position as facts change... but I keep trying:-) things are slow in the home building business - I have alot of free time on my hands.

Well, all I can say is, that's a bottomless hole to throw it down.

Well... there's always Bill:-) speaking of, he may just be right on the mortgage thing though I seriously doubt you will get a free house - you may get to live there for free tho - Karl is doing some background - I'll have to eat some crow if what KD thinks happened - happened. ZH is all over this as well - we should, eventually, be able to suss out what they did.

I kinda suspect that there's more than just smoke there, too. However, just like the big bank bailouts, I think the thing is gonna get walled off by Congress.

I definitely have some popcorn ready for the unfolding of events.

ETA:

The thing that puts a smile on my face is the apparent delight that Bill shows when the BANKS take one in the nuts. This is in contradistinction to his outrage when somebody like GPG stiffs Bill's God, the government.

The inflation/deflation thing with the Dollar.
