Whats's Wrong with this Picture?

The trial in Hartford Conn of the two convicts who murdered a family is half over, with one conviction.

I am pissed.

Facts.

A Physician was sleeping on the couch after dinner and was hit on the head with a baseball bat.
FIRST RED FLAG----WHAT??? No locked doors, eh?

They take him to the cellar and tie him up.
WHAT??
This must have taken some time and made a hell of a noise.

Meanwhile the mother and three daughters wander around, blithely unaware about what is going on.
WHAT???

The two bad guys now make introductions--- and tie up the two daughters--who do not resist or scream or go insane and jump out windows--- and one guy now takes the mother to the bank to make her withdraw 20 grand after a long search for cash in the house.

The mother is in the bank, and does not create a big fuss, but does tell the woman cashier about her plight.
No emergency, no bank robbery buttons, no screaming, no furor.
The mother leaves the bank quietly with robber.
WHAT!!!
All this bank stuff must have taken 45 minutes, round trip.

Meanwhile the Dr. GETS LOOSE from the basement and hops next door to alert a neighbor about the situation before the bank trip is complete.

I guess they must have had a tea or a jerk off session because, like the bank situation, not a friggin thing happens.
WHAT???

Meanwhile, after a stop at Micky D's, the mother gets back home with the robber.

The bad guys now have enough time to have a rape/sex session and then to strangle the mom--this must take at least 15 minutes after getting home and digesting that hamburger.
WHAT??

Then the two bad guys decide to do the two daughters--- quickies or ten minutes a piece??--- and then set the house on fire after a search for some gasoline in the garage--probably another half hour or so has passed after the decision to do the girls.

WTF is going on??

The cops should have been there a hour ago.

The husband should have been able to get a posse together with the neighbor by the time the robber got back.

NO FRIGGIN GUNS ANYWHERE IN THIS LIB DEVELOPMENT.

The Dr. is guilty of not defending his family--he is paying the price now.

The late mother must have been incompetent, the daughters must have been be similarly retarded.
I never knew any woman who would not scream or create a fuss over much much less.

The neighbor who took the father in must be insane or a deviant for not making a major deal out of things.
"Ahh Bill, I do not want to make an embarrassing fuss about any of this--let me call a psychiatrist and discuss things with him won't you?"

There is so much blame to go around in this tragedy that it is totally beyond my comprehension why things happened as they did.

A lot of peorple ought to be very very ashamed of themselves regarding their competency to be human beings, including those in an official status in that berg.

Millions have gone to their deaths not being able to react to their imminent demise, some will always wait for deliverance that never comes,,, they may be overly civilized/domesticated/tamed by the good life and far from the never used survival instincts that was part of their distant ancestry.
Our society says depend on law enforcement to handle your dire needs and nothing bad should happen to you,,, good luck with that and learn to heal up real fast and growl.

It allmost sounds like either mommy or daddy was behind the thing from the start as an insurance scam or something, but then the employees decided to take things a little farther. It's simply inconceivable that anyone would just lie back and take it for that long....but then again I don't know all that many sheeple.

Yes, that thought occured to me--- that it WAS an ins scam, set up by the father who conveniently survived.

It is impossible to stop thinking that way after all the other scams and fake murders out there, and the long time frame that this crime took, to play out.

There's something about this case that makes me scratch my head. Something just doesn't add up.

What doesn't add up is how did 6 million Jews line up to die without a bloody struggle? Were they paid off or conditioned environmentally? Even some armed people cannot respond to a lethal threat with lethal force.
A combat unit requires leadership to insure weapons are worked, some few never can be dependable even with repeated exposure to combat,,, that's why Corporal's get the big money.

I've been following this case since the crime made the 6:00 news here in CT. You fellas can have your conspiracy theorys, but I don't think that there is one. This was a big news crime in CT, and with all the eyes on it that there have been, if there was any connection between Dr. Petit and the perps, it would have come out by now. Jus' sayin'.

This was indeed a terrible tragedy, but the father bears responsibility for not having the means or will to defend his family. He paid a high price for his liberal thinking.

Me? I have guns in every room in the house, along with backup mags. After reading of this incident, I put one of my spare PD mags on my couch side table. I'm wearing my PD as I type this, and have it with me wherever I go in my house or yard.

One of Jeff Cooper's books mentions a very large man who did not resist a couple of smaller unarmed opponents. He allowed them to tie him up and then they killed him. In all honesty, everyone is really trained not to resist, certainly very little training or even encouragement goes in to resisting force being visited upon people.

A lot of these people in liberal areas like the NE see it not as "liberal" thinking, but "normal" thinking, since they are so heavily indoctrinated in liberal beliefs both culturally and educationally. They don't know anything else or better and buy all the lies about guns in the house being used against you (it couldn't have been any worse than what happened w/o them in this case) and that 911 and the police are all you need.

The doctor was asleep in the sunroom on an easy chair while his wife and two daughters were asleep upstairs. Komisarjevsky, who had spotted the wife and daughters at a supermarket and followed them home, was a career cat burglar. He did his crime while people were at home asleep. According to the second perp, Hayes they went up to the house and saw the doctor asleep in the sun room. They could not make entry due to the locked doors but Komisarjevsky found a way in through the basement. In the basement Komisarjevsky found a baseball bat and went upstairs and attacked the sleeping doctor, splitting his head wide open.
How is being ambushed in your own home while asleep by a talented cat burglar a failure? I have stalked and caught and missed cat burglars and they are by far the most "talented" and brazen criminal you'll generally run across. Komisarjevsky had skulked around in dozens of peoples homes while they slept previously, so it's not like there was a breaking glass or door kicked in. I feel sorry for Dr. Petit and his family. This was a simple home invasion/burglary that went bad when the burglars didn't find the big score they thought they had coming. BTW-Dr. Petit got loose from his hands only, he hopped up a flight of stairs and out a raised basement door then rolled over to his neighbors house. He was so badly beaten his neighbor didn't recognize him. The doctor also didn't object to the offer of straght up pleas by Komisarjevsky and Hayes as long as the death penality was taken off the table, he now has to sit through another long trial re-living the death of his wife and two daughters. That shows a tremendous courage of conviction.

Thanks Sarge, for shedding light on the unfairly criticized. Not everyone has canines to alert them, and the Doc probably lived in a "nice" 'hood that doesn't warrant an advanced security system. It sounds like a pretty freak attack by rare attackers. And yes, no way are the perps going to hide a conspiracy and take the fall.

Still, a few questions do remain, to wit:

Had the forced entry been noisier and more protracted, what was the doc's Plan A, Plan B, etc.?

What was the timeline of when the doc appeared beaten and bloody to his neighbor, and why didn't that alone summon Duh Law?

What are the prior rap sheets of the two perps?
