Please educate me on QE 2

There are several references to QE 2 or the QE 2 road, but a search only brings up references to the English Queen, or the the ship named after her. Please let me know what does QE 2 mean when used as an economic term?

Dan - think TARP 2! it means that the Fed. (the private bankers bank) is deciding if it should, or should not, expand it's balance sheet and flood our economy with more electronic dollars in a futile attempt to keep the housing and credit bubble propped - it will fail - but THAT IS WHAT qe2 IS!

BTW THAT expectation is why the stock mkt goes UP whenever we get horrible news regarding economic activity - the dumbass hedge funds and primary banks think BB will be FORCED into QE2.

do some homework on what the Federal Reserve Bank IS!
