Jews prove they control TV networks by firing Rick Sanchez... D'OH!!

I thought the Joos were higher IQ, total big picture, supremely Machiavellian... and totally jiu-jitsu when it comes to PR, so it seems rather ham-handed that they immediately fired Rick for saying 1.2% of smack about the Jews, compared to what's been said about Muslims and even Christians on Duh Same Airwaves. Just so NAKED to wield the oligarchic power that way.

BACKGROUND: Rick Sanchez, formerly one of our local Miami-based Cuban-American news anchors, has of late been working on the national stage at CNN... he was being interviewed on Sirius radio, and had the "temerity" to suggest that Jews are anything but a powerLESS "minority", and that CNN and all the US networks are run by Jewish bigots like Jon Stewart.

Guess he was right, but it cost him a handsome paycheck. Oi vey!

Pretty accurate summary, excerpted from The Miami Herald:

Sanchez's outburst about Jews came during a rant against Jon Stewart, who often makes fun of Sanchez on his Comedy Central show. Sanchez was being interviewed on comedian Pete Dominick's XM Sirius Radio show when the conversation went off the rails.

It started relatively innocently, with Sanchez expressing irritation at being lumped in with other Hispanic TV journalists by a CNN boss. Racist attitudes aren't rooted on the political right, he added, but also extend to ``elite, Northeast establishment liberals.''

``Deep down, when they look at a guy like me, they see a guy automatically who belongs in the second tier, and not the top tier,'' Sanchez continued. Then he said: ``I think to some extent Jon Stewart and [Comedy Central comic Stephen] Colbert are the same way. I think Jon Stewart's a bigot.''

How's that? asked the puzzled Dominick. ``I think he looks at the world through his mom, who was a school teacher, and his dad, who was a physicist or something like that,'' replied Sanchez, speaking of Stewart. ``Great, I'm so happy that he grew up in a suburban middle class New Jersey home with everything you could ever imagine.''

``What group is he bigoted towards?'' pressed Dominick.

``Everybody else who's not like him. Look at his show, I mean, what does he surround himself with?'' said Sanchez. When Dominick seemed surprised that Sanchez could level a charge of bigotry against Jews, who themselves have been subjected to discrimination, Sanchez dismissed the idea.

``I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority?'' Sanchez said, then added with sarcastic emphasis: ``Yeah.''


So much for the First Amendment, eh? Granted, Rick has a Geraldo-esque chip on his shoulder on all things "hispanic", but you really need to have a thicker skin when it comes to being lampooned by Comedy Central.

Many of Ricks comments were kind of mindless, its like his past history caught up with him. Rick Sanchez got what he deserved. Is it all the difficult to believe that CNN gave him the boot for his ill concieved thoughts?

I like Pat Buchanan but unfortunately his only fault in my view is that he's not exactly a fan of Israel. My Rabbi once said he's nothing more than a Klansman without the sheet. That got me thinking about the Rabbis thought process, yet I still consider my spiritual leader. Similarly I consider Buchanan a valued political pontiff.

I think the two of you are virulent anti Israeli, anti Jewish bigots who are likely hanging out with the pro-terrorist muslims clamoring for the destruction of Israel.

I have heard countless so-called Christians (such as yourself or EM) throw the insults and racial slurs toward Jews, and only a very few times heard any Jews make similar comments. Maybe it is because you do so much shit-slinging yourself that you get some back one in a while. It's something to consider, anyway.

Hey they're not all that way but a lifetime of experiences have left me with an impression that some are not all that friendly towards gentiles--must have something to do with the teachings of the elders
I have never singled one out, I dont go looking for someone to insult, I normally turn the other cheek but I will comment on what I perceive as a negative or otherwise blatant remark--and when I do I almost universally get this type of response--it's as if they are considered beyond reproach--nice game where you can manipulate entire groups of people--media experience and domination have their advantages eh?

Exactly. He's a half-wit, and he showed that he indeed was not worthy of occupying the top tier of journalism with his classless rant. If indeed "the joos!" did this, at least it shows they have standards for behavior.

Maybe now Sanchez will learn a lesson that most of us picked up on the grade-school playground - there is no quicker way to legitimize the actions of a bully than to respond to his abuse.

As a side note, I've been listening to Pete Dominick and the XM/Sirius "POTUS" channel during recent car trips - seems like some pretty solid reporting on political matters.
