Ron Paul Wins CPAC Straw Poll

Paul's victory came as a surprise to supporters of Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, who has won the straw poll at this event for the last four years. Romney was second this year, with 22 percent.

Take Ron over a RINO any day. Now if only the conservative "protest nonvoting" voters actually try and get him in office. Hopefully the learned something from the Obumbler/Mcsame election.

I'd take my chances on an older, more experienced candidate but I don't believe he's going to run again.
If he can get his son elected to the Senate this November I suspect he'll support the then, two year experienced Rand Paul for the nomination.

Hmmm...imagine having just one Ron Paulesque US Representative in each state. Could the man be cloned?

It will never happen. Still can't figure out how he gets elected considering the traits that are admired by republican voters based on their picks every election cycle.

Pretty much.
It's sad really, the people down there have had to choose between pretty radical liberal Democrats or with such limp wristed, watered down pansies posing as conservative Republicans for so long, I truly believe most of them probably don't even remember what a real conservative is anymore.
