19 perfuckin-cent is a clear front-runner?

In what? - A serial dilution of societal desires or a laboratory?

I am amazed at what passes for reality and news of the past 10 years or more.

Face-it - we are screwed and will have to check-out early if we don't take the screwing.

Ya know?

Romney?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - *cough* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Seriously, Romney was anti-gun.

This makes him unacceptable on this count alone.

So was McCain, so was Bush, so was Dole, so was Bush, so was Reagan, so was...

Seems to make them hot tickets in the primaries based on tallies.

All them were not so good... Palin by association. :)

Exactly. All I need to know is McCain asked and she accepted. He isn't stupid so she is either a useful idiot at best or more likely willing accomplice.

I think palin will get ripped apart by the dems, she lost so much creditability from quitting her governor job and the media hype from her feud with that Levi guy and that was all after the 2008 election.

Palin did herself-in by BLINDLY supporting that communist/RINO/POS/ESTABLISHMENT/INCUMBENT - McCain.

'Nuff said . . .

McCain is a traditional republican/conservative. Someone like Ron Paul (assuming he is legit and his purpose isn't simply to get the liberty minded to waste their time) is a RINO. He runs on the (R) ticket, but rarely supports liberty infringements like the true republican/conservatives do.

Just say no to Mitt Romney, for God's sake.

Plenty will say yes because he is a true conservative republican.

Conservative?

Would you like some waffles with that Rino?

Yes, conservative. Would you like to read about the origin of conservatives?

http://mises.org/books/betrayal.pdf

And yes a true republican. Look at republican #1, Abe Lincoln. Violated the Constitution with impunity, jailed anyone who disagree with him, promoter of corporate welfare, and on and on.

Who is more inline with the average republican's actual positions (as in how they vote, not how they talk) Romney or Paul?

Not her kinda guy. :) "Not if you was da last presidential candidate on earth, honey."

Paul (or anyone holding anything close to his positions) damn sure would never make it through the (R) primaries either or (R) commentators either.

They were friends before she joined the herd.

Alan Keyes and Sarah Palin to the White House for 2012---the Dynamic Duo-- A real American black man and a real American white woman. They are the worst nightmare for liberal shtheads! And that is a very good thing.

Technically speaking, you're absolutely correct.

It's funny to me how your comments that Romney was a "true conservative republican" and Paul was a "RINO" were summarily rejected by my brain.

I leapt into Romney/attack - Paul/defense mode...until I re-read your post carefully.

(And this, after I assumed my left-right paradigm was properly shattered.)

Thanks for the semantic wake-up call. Although, I hope Ron Paul's ruse can get him back into the light for 2012.

I'm sorry but Romney would not be my choice for anything. This guy used to be the governor of Mass. Look at their taxes, healthcare and gun laws if nothing else. No, he's not for me.

I see the context you speak in now, at first I did not. I would argue however that "conservative" does not necessarily equal republican (in any era). Neocons are not traditional conservatives IMO, though Mitt Romney at this point I don't think even rates as a neocon...

Check the PDF copy of that book, well worth the time.

America's leftist experiment hasn't hurt folks enough yet. They still don't get it. Old guard RINO's have not been purged either.

Expect the leftward spiral into statism to continue unabated. Palin et al don't have the leadership skills to stop it.

most of the folks you see on TV / political soapboxes are "party members" who will stick the $$gods party line down their throats so far , Linda lovelace would be jealous. Romney is a traitor, most all party members are, Macain is a traitor, hell why do people call him a hero? he got his ass shot down, rolled over like a beer keg and helped cover up the troops/pows left behind.

Ron Paul gets my vote again, man walks his talk. I don't know what to think about Sarah except shes got more balls than the entire democratic leadership combined but might be behold'n to big oil.

don't shoot till ya see the whites of their eyes.

Say what you want about his politics, libertarian he is not. Presidential material in my book? Nope, not that either.

But you are reading too much HuffPo to have a firm grasp of POW/MIA issues. Got shot down and "rolled over like a beer keg"? Really? Some people have no shame.
