Went to the ffl yest and pick up my very early 2nd generation glock 19. Its prefix DN which is March 1988, the first month of glock 19's and the first month the were imported. Wish it was the rare 1st gen but first 1000 is kinda cool too. Can't wait to get her to the range. I have a gen 3 and have like the grip difference of a friend's gen 2.

Pretty cool when those are full auto with 30 round mags

Otherwise not my cup O tea. I guess they would make a good CCW gun due to light weight, or hiking / backpacking gun.

I just have a hard time with the grip angle, screws up accuracy for me.

Cops love em.

Gona have ta get the matching phone...........

I thought the 1st gen glocks had smooth front and back straps and the 2nd gen glocks had the checkering on the front and back straps.

I don't know for sure it's just what I have always heard.

My first generation G17 has the pebble grain stuff
going around the front to the back.
The checkering was on the 2nd gen.
