I've often wondered how a parked Blackhawk would look; now I know - not too bad! IMHO, it would look markedly better if you sprayed a coat of gray/Park Duracoat on the grip frame, however.

This was for a buddy of mine, its his woods side arm so he didnt really care to refinish the aluminum frame parts, just the old rusty bluing. He was VERY happy with the outcome..

I had my 4" .45 Colt Blackhawk out last night fondling it. They're a very good value in a powerful handgun.

I like it too! Nice to take something that may be a little old or worn out and give it a new lease on life--I felt that way when I painted my 73 GMC P/U
I think the parkerization looks cool, very utilitarian
