The S is about to hit the fan and Bill saw it coming, decided he could not defend it, so he took a powder - great show of moral courage!

Let me assist.

TP saw the (political) tide coming in and thought he could stop it so he ran his mouth waaaay more than he should have. What is coming is a (political) tsunami and when he realized what it really was, he decided to scoot knowing he couldn't get anyone conviced it was really ok.

He's not stupid, just misguided. Belay that, he is stupid and misguided.

Hope this helps.

Liberals show neither morals or courage.

DABTL realized after a few months that Obama and the Elite protecting democrats were virtually the same as Bush II and the Elite protecting republicans, and well after bashing Bush II and his criminal gang for 8 years it would be an undefendable position to attempt to defend Obama and his crew.

So he chose a strategic retreat.

He made life interesting and intimidated the shit out of some here, who are wont to egage in intellectual debate,,, he was more irratating than new chalk on a blackboard
When I thought I bested him that was the best of times for me. His opinions created interest where none had existed before, his opinons made clear those of his oponents,, come back DABTL,, I'd like to kick your ass some more,,,, assuming I ever did.
Contrary to popular opinion Dull Boys don't rule.
Let's return to the mundane and opine as to which wheels are best for a skateboard.

Actually DABTL was right on much of the criticism of Bush, the repubs, the economy, the wars, the insider deals, the bailouts, the corruption on Wall St. etc....but he was wrong crowing that Obama and the dems were going to straighten the mess up when they are just more of the same.

Hence his absence.

And so it goes.

.................juanni It's like fingernails on the blackboard when you keep crowing about more of the same. Obama is the most radical leftwing POS that ever gained high office and makes Bush look like a piker. Look at who he has behind him, who is in his administration, what his agenda is. There are some similarities, but tripling the deficit, growing the government, he makes Bush look like a conservative.

Bill is an OK dude - he used this board as a foil - I accused him of doing this and he NEVER denied it - thing is, Bill is the antithesis of Jokker - they BOTH are locked into the ideological boxes that TPTB want us in - Bill is too old to change but there is hope for Jokker - RED pill dude...

On the BIG ISSUES
Corporate and Banking Bailouts
Destroying the dollar via the FED
Letting Wall St fraud continue unbothered by law enforcement
Expanding the Police State
Perpetuating Warfare
Shrinking the Middleclass
Growing the federal government
Shoving the US into Insolvency
Accepting donations and protecting the connected and Elite

there is very little difference

Bush grew the govt at 29% (adjusted for inflation) in 8 years, what do you think Obama has done in almost 2?

Lawyers who can fake compassion and sincerity get paid more, a couple were so skilled as to have even been elected to our nation's Presidency.
Some lawyers are so dedicated to the law they will defend those accused of the most heinous of crimes, that might be said to be a form of professional integrity or a complete lack of character, depending on your point of view.
Like many skills a daily regimen of argumentative ploys must be crafted and used to achieve and maintain a high level of those skills, if you crank off enough rounds and examine your targets with informed diligence you can determine your shooting proficiencies improvement or decline,,, or whether you should quit altogether.
I think a lot of us come here to crank off rounds for our own reason's,,, and then some never fire a shot.

Give up juanni. obamas cover is blown wide open. Nothing can hide the outright extreme marxism.

Munster is correct, bush and the idiot rinos are pikers next to the commie theft machine of obama and the democrats.

That's because there wasn't one.
If you wish to fancy yourself a deep thinker by ferreting out a non-existent agenda, go ahead.
You would do better to look up psychological disorders.
BTW:
Most insane people believe themselves to be sane.

Bill likely still monitors the board. When the dems finally get a defensible position on something, he'' be back full time.
I miss him and mule a lot. He raised the level of rhetoric and was good for all here. He made you think. I am sure he is still of the opinion that most here have brain damage or suffer from hydrocephaly.

Use his silence as a barometer of how badly the election is going to go this fall for the dems and their agenda.

.308 - like it or not I have more history with Bill than you do - he DID have an agenda here, he used this place to test his lefty theories and keep his debating skills sharp - we're talking 10 years of history here bro! I know what he was doing - fact is he was called on it a number of times.

That he was called on something and didn't affirm or deny does not make it assent by silence.
Just a one sided conversation.

I'm glad that you have more history with Bill than I.
I'm not as tolerant of assholes as you are.

gates you are a moron. i HATE socialists. unlike you i want to do something about them. unlike you i believe it is possible to stop them. if you can suggest a better way of stopping them i am willing to listen but you seem to be a loser that is willing to give up without a fight. somebody that is willing to give up without a fight is little more than a slave.

I miss Bill. He was a consummate fisherman and could get the cagiest of fish to rise to his bait....
I like pokin' people with pointy sticks, too but find it way more fun to do it face to face and in person... Doing it from the safety of hiding behind a computer keyboard makes it kinda lame...
