THAT nicely composed question/speech/statement by the lady must have been a total surprise to Obonzo and the event organizers.
I think they had her typecast as a "I LUV YOU MR. PRESIDENT", with additional emphasis, type of Obonzo Fan Club member. Capable of at worst maybe an inappropriate admission of affection.
I believe they expected her to be a softball questioner, if coherent at all, that Obonzo could drop a gooey "Aw Shucks" on and move on.

I talk to blacks on a daily basis. A black guy will vote skin pigment every time.
I’ve asked a few of them after their candidate gets into corruption trouble and I get the same answer from everyone of them
